OSA messes you up in at least 2 ways. First, you get REM deprived because of the arousals that occur. The brain does lots of stuff during REM that help you the next day. And, relatively speaking, you get more REM toward the end of the night. Unless you take your mask off.
Second, you may have significant oxygen desaturations because that mask is on your night table and not your face. Everybody's different and you can find out how many and how severe your desaturations were, but some people's lips turn blue from O2 depravation before their body wakes them up again. If that's what happens to their lips, I'd hate to see what's going on in their brains.
Try to keep it on all night tonight.
Good luck.
