As another person said the photos are very misleading. They show the hose exiting the gear in the back of the head - it actually exits between the forehead and the top middle of the head.
You can easily sleep in any position with the Breeze. The various "non pillow" mask - especially at higher pressures - tend to freeze new users on their back. It takes some experimenting to keep the mask from leaking in any position except laying perfectly still on your back.
If you have a properly fitting mask, and learn to adjust the straps just so you can learn to sleep comfortably.
Hate to tell you this, but you are likely to have limited choices when first set up with your gear. The provider will give you what they have in stock, and/or what the insurance company will pay for - and it may not be exactly what you want. Go with the flow and try what they give you - most people can work it out. If not then you need to go back and push for whatever it takes to make it work for you.
My insurace comapny considers the Breeze to be a "luxury" mask - I bought and paid for it myself about $100 at a web site. From the forum many people do it it covered by insurance.
