Here in Australia, my sleep specialist ventured the opinion that before long, all CPAPs will be autoPAPs (like the 418P). I have been using it only for a few months, but no-one has ever suggested that it would not be as effective over the long term.

I have a Resmed Autoset T autoPAP, and it is easier to use for me than the CPAP I tried initially. I intend to use this machine for many years to come. Especially since I paid for 80% of it out of my own pocket!
