Is the problem with CPAP, or something else.

Unfortunately, for many of us getting everything right was not so easy.

Fisrt, the CPAP must be set-up right. Right pressure, no mask leaks, right humididty for you, and something that you adjust to. It can take some of us months to get all of that right (it did for me).

Next their may be other health problems involved, including an overwhelming sleep debt. I suffer from allergy induced exhaustion problems that can be worse than the OSA exhaustion problems. There are about a half dozen other common things, and more uncommon things. Figuring what is responsible for which part of the exhaustion problem can take a really good detective and time.

Finally, there are other sleep problems. UARS, and possibly non-cpap responsive centrals (this is fairly rare).

I know how frustrating this all is, it took me 15 months to get all my equipment and me right so that I could finally count on regular good night's sleep (in increasing levels of improvement). However, this summer has been a doosy on the allergy issues which has produced a truely major effect on what I have accomplished this summer.

I wish you well with this.

Perry
