One week report

Posted by student on August 05, 2001 at 11:04:57:

So, I've been on CPAP for a week; and I think I've made some good progress....Much better since wed. when I got my heated humidifier :)

Though I haven't seen a very drastic change...I continue to remain somewhat optomistic.

I've decided to use ivory soap for the time being to clean my mask (as it's the "purest" soap that I can find). And so far, the soap has been doing it's job.

One issue I've been having is that when I'm sleeping, I wake up (very briefly) since it sounds like there is some sort of bubble (water bubble?) popping in my mask or in my hose? Any insights?

And a second question....my nose is still getting accustomed to the mask, so I have one of those red sore lines. Since I'm going to be seeing my family this week, I was wondering if anyone on this forum new of any little cosmetic tips to help reduce the marks......

Thanks!
