Hello Robert

Take heart, Robert, in knowing that nearly everyone has problems with fixing leaks and finding the perfect mask.

It took me about a year and four or five different masks to find a couple that work for me.

With most masks, tightening up the straps usually doesn't help much with leaks. The effect more likely is to create stresses that open leaks along folds and lines in your facial "topography". As suggested, you might have better luck using the ramping arrangement with your CPAP machine. As it ramps up, very gently adjust straps to stop leaks as they appear. Do this while lying down in your "go to sleep" position.

If you can identify the mask, other users may be able to provide specific tips.

Rob
