UARS vs. sleep apnea

Posted by robs on August 06, 2001 at 09:55:53:

Can someone help explain the differences between UARS and sleep apnea. I have severe sleep fragmentation due to UARS and mild sleep apnea, however, it seems like they are essentially the same as far as medical treatment? Is surgery more successful for UARS than sleep apnea? Are allergies a source of UARS (we have pets in the house as well).

Thanks,

robs
