Most all CPAP's work on DC power. Check with the manufacturer or your DME. They may have to special order the cables, but you should be able to attach to a battery. At Respironics they recommend a deep cycle marine battery and they said it should last 3 nights before you need to charge it up. That of course is based on a basic respironics CPAP not using a heated humidifier. I hope that helps.
