No way I know of to tell. By this time, I think you can be fairly sure of getting the improved model(s). The noisy exhaust problem was only on the very first ones. It's highly unlikely you would get one with this problem.

In general, none of this has been a huge problem, frankly, and not everyone encountered the issues even at the time.
