Are you sure it's back pain and not chest/lungs?
Usually the chest/lung pain goes away after several weeks on cpap.
However, after using the nasal pillows (no leaks) I experience ache that persists....titration is high and now I am seeking a bipap or autopap to ease the exhaling against the pressure.
Hope you find relief from your problem.
