Thanks for the posts. They do help. I was at the DME today and they have apparently brought back a tech that used to work at this location who seems to have a brain. The previous tech (who is still there, but is lacking experience) told me they didn't have any Breeze units and wouldn't because they had too many problems and complaints. The returning tech pulled one out for me to see. Up until today I hadn't seen anything but the pictures. Then he proceeded to tell me that most people hate the Breeze and have problems keeping it on. He said he was familiar with this site and I pointed out about how many we have here who are having great success with it. Maybe the patients here in Dallas need to work with it longer.

I have been planning to get one, but that may change. As of today I have the encouragement of one of the specialists at Respironics to try something that might allow the Virtuoso LX to work with a heated humidifier. We'll see if it works. If so I plan to go back to auto mode. Since the Virtuoso is not supposed to work with nasal pillows I may have to stay with a mask. Of course, they said the Virtuoso wouldn't work with a heated humidifier. Aah, another challenge.
