Perry,
Medicare is one of the most limiting as to insurance allowances....my former employer provides an excellent coverage, if only that could be my primary insurance, but they insist that medicare be primary and then pay the 20% balance of the medicare measly allowance, therefore the DME cannot afford to purchase a better product.
As you say, the whole system is for the benefit of the insurance companies...but didn't we all know that going in?
