Well, this is my first post here, so please excuse my ignorance...

What are you cleaning? The CPAP tubes? I have the DeVilbiss Horizon system and the manual says to use water and mild detergent. Why the vinegar solution?

Also, regarding the anti-bacterial soap: There is already one study that has shown the stuff isn't strong enough to kill all the bacteria and eventually creates super strains that are totally resistent! The FDA is studying the situation and may call for a ban on the home-strength brands.
