Julie...In light of the growing amount of information I've read about sleep apnea, I would have to think that MILD sleep apnea is sort of like being MILDLY pregnant...either you IS or you ISN'T. True, your numbers may not tell a spectacular story, but the ongoing effects of poor sleep and oxygen deprivation are still present in your life.
As for insurance companies, you'll have to fight with them to get paid for ANYTHING these days. They don't want to pay for a bloomin' thing any more.(You may not be old enough to remember when they were "happy to be of service") Now, unless your premium is late or they want more money from you, you never hear from them.....George
