Hello Opher...we're glad you've found the Forum and WELCOME!!
As I sit here listening to Seattle's liquid sunshine falling steadily for the third day in a row, I think back to my teen years in Orange County. I well remember "working on my tan" in January. I STILL love the scent of cocoa butter and we reeked of it in the 60's! Hmmm...could that be why women my age see chocolate as they do and are secretly lobbying the FDA to have it included as the 8th Basic Food Group on the pyramid chart?? *grin*
My suggestion for the deteriorating sleep is to try a nasal mask/chinstrap set-up. Just as masks don't work for all of us...nasal pillows aren't the ideal solution for everyone either. For the first time in 9 months of OSA therapy, I'm starting to feel a positive difference with a mask/chinstrap/nasal strip/Nasacort combination.
I'm taking it slow...not getting TOO excited...but the past week has been better!! Baby steps count here, Opher...and we celebrate them all!
This is an incredibly supportive group...don't hesitate to share your highs and lows...we're here to listen, share, help if we can, commiserate and motivate!
Jo
