NEW TO CPAP AND SIDE EFFECTS

After about 18 month of health decline I finally had a sleep study that determined I had OSA.I recieved my Healthdyne Quest 7300 from Apria on 01/15/99 and started using it that night.After discussing with my doctor the results of the sleep study ,he said a starting setting of 10 would work.Is that high? Also I wake up in the morning with lots of extra air in my stomach.Is this normal?I have learned alot of good info by looking thru the forum THANKS.
