Peter: I'm sorry to hear that your pain has gotten worse since your third day. Perhaps you need to ask your doctor about more pain medication? It is still good that you have a positive attitude that the whole ordeal is worth the pain and discomfort that you are going through right now. I know that by the time I "go under the knife", I will be better prepared due to the experiences that everyone on these forums have shared. I am thankful that I found this web site to read and learn and prepare. This Friday, 1/22, I will be meeting with my doctor to discuss surgical options. Based on feedback from people on this forum, I will be questioning my doctor about doing the UPPP and septoplasty all at the same time. So far, I have only one vote in favor of doing it all at once, and several who think I should have them done separately. Thanks for sharing your experiences.
