The pull of the F/P heated humidifier is only something like 80 watts (I looked at mine but don't remember exactly what it said.... over 40 now and no memory to speak of left....) I was looking to see if I could rig an inverter for the boat for this summer and was considering leaving the humidifier off to save power, but seeing that it really doesn't pull all that much, I may take the whole rig back an forth.

A marine battery on a charger and an inverter would be a lot cheaper than most computer UPS rigs and would provide a lot longer life. Would provide 100% backup all the time by running the CPAP and humidifier this way every night. Much like the way that I power my telephone switches her in Michigan by the way....
