I was glad I read your posting... I'm experiencing the same problem and I thought I was losing my mind. The first couple of days were not uncomfortable and I found relief (though I was mad about having to use CPAP), I still felt better. Actually, I'd say the first 5 days were fine. Now the problems are starting... I can't get comfortable... the nasal pillows won't stay in unless I stuff them in, and then I feel like my nose is stretching; I have a small nose. Then there is this whistling noise coming from the pillows (that wasn't there before) and it only goes away if I tighten the straps ridiculously tight. Then that darn hose has a mind of it's own, and it's all over the place. And the worst part of it is that I'm waking up with headaches and I'm tired. Not as tired as before, but definitely tired. Oh yeah, did I mention that I'm on my second sinus infection in two weeks. Geezus... I finally resolved to maintain a positive attitude and use the machine, so long as I felt better, and now I don't even feel better. It was good to see that I'm not alone, though I wouldn't wish this on you or anyone. I want to stick with the nasal pillows... I don't want to use the mask... it felt like a windstorm on my nose. I just don't get it. I read some of the suggestions that people offer here... they are getting different connections and adapters and all that, but I don't know how to do all of that. I can't offer you any help but I thought I'd write to commiserate with you.
