Where to get a good deal on c-pap machine

Posted by looking to help brother on August 29, 2001 at 17:44:26:

Does anyone have suggestions on where one can get a c-pap machine inexpensively? Most quotes I've received are in the $500 dollar range. Perhaps we're dreaming, but we're trying to find something in the $300 range.

My brother was just diagnosed with sleep apnea, and was told to get a C-pap machine (and lose a little bit of weight). He's recent victim of downsizing in the tech sector, and his insurance won't pay for the machine because his policy expires very soon, and his COBRA would cost more than a C-Pap machine. His income is just high enough that he isn't eligible for his state medical program, so we as family are trying to do everything we can to help.

I'd appreciate any suggestions.
