Mirage fff and lower lip

Last night was my second night with the Mirage ff mask. I expected the usual strap and leak problems and got them, as the headgear is much too big for me; I'm working on that.

What confounds me is that during the night I woke up, at least three times, with my lower lip outside the bottom of the mask. I had secured the mask using the "headband technique" and the band was still in place this morning. When I later tried to duplicate this, I found that opening my mouth all the way caused my lip to slip outside the mask. I've seach through a cou
