I can really relate here. I hated mine too as it didn't work. I have a chubby face and a petite nose so the Mirage FF didn't work for me. If it fit I would go that way in a minute. I had a friend make me the chinstrap from Tom's directions. It took several fittings but we now have it right and I am fine. It is so important to have it tight across your lower lip and the commercial straps don't seem to address that issue.
