My wife and I work in DC with her office 3 blocks from the White House, mine 3 or 4 blocks from the Capitol, and we live by Quantico Marine Base which are all potential ground zero. The pictures on TV do not impact you like the reality of passing by the Pentagon and the smoke filled air which I am sure is worse in NY but the effect is the same. Also, the lockdown of the Capitol brings the message home that life in this town, this country will not be the same. Evil has come into our backyard and we must deal. I hope we find the evidence to assign responsibility and not only exact a measure of revenge but also get the cooperation of all the world leaders that have condemed the terrorist but more importantly put an end to these evil acts by any means necessary. Please try to donate blood to help those in need. Thanks
