strap on mask is giving me a headache

Posted by Christian on September 12, 2001 at 09:36:40:

The strap on the lower (neck) part of my mask is giving me a terrible headache. I keep it as loose as possible yet whenever I take off the mask I feel a rush of blood going to my head but I still suffer headaches from it during the day. Is there any other way to wear a mask without using those straps or a different style? Mine is the newest Remstar Respironics mask w/ head strap. In fact I have made the strap so loose, that I have to hold my mask on with my hand in order for it not to leak! That gets old after a while! Also, I have been a stomach sleeper all my life and find that it is difficult to do with that mask on. Any suggestions?
