The most qualified observers are the parents and they often attribute the regression to the vaccination. Often the time of day of the vaccination can be critical.
Vaccines can be contaminated.
There is a plausible mechanism for such vaccination to induce problems: the GALT. Gut Associated Lymphoid Tissue, particularly IEL cells. This is a 'primordial' immune system that is active (especially against mycobacteria, such as those that contaminate vaccines) that is effective prior to the infant's immune system becoming fully functional.
The saying is : Genetics loads the gun, but the environment pulls the trigger. So the vaccine would merely induce changes in those who were already susceptible, such as those with deletions on any of three chromosomes, but most notably 7q.
Genes that are turned "on" when the body encounters mild hypoxia can have switches that are a bit too slow.
Autistics often have gut problems.
Sleep apnea is thought by a few researchers to be infection related.
It has been discovered that 'nasal washings' of sleep apnea patients contain indicators of infection far more often than age matched controls, even controls who are overweight but do not have sleep apnea.
