Hello Philip and stillsotired,

Philip, you might want to read the thread with stillsotired 6 topics back. What you are describing sounds exactly like what I dealt with for 2 years. Using heated water to start the night out (heated in a bowl in the microwave) and a heating pad under the humidifier and a towel over it helped. I had to use a FF mask because I couldn't breathe at all through my nose and sinuses, but trying to keep the water heated helped. Now that I have purchased a heated humidifier, my sinuses are clear and have been using a nasal mask and have just changed to nasal pillows. Its the heated humidification that made the difference for me. Do a search of the forums and you will see countless others who have had the same experience.
