SAD DAY-one positive followup

Posted by Jim in Dallas on September 25, 2001 at 08:28:06:

Sorry for posting this here, but apparently posting on the mourning forum has been discontinued.

Previously I had posted about a friend whose father just missed the attack at the Pentagon (he was late for a meeting in the section that was hit) and whose brother was in the WTC. Well, I just got back into town and received word that her father is in the hospital due to breathing the smoke and dust while trying to save some of the victims at the Pentagon. He is in serious condition but I believe the outlook is good. Her brother is alive. He has some lacerations and a broken arm, but is at home.

My thoughts and prayers continue to be with everyone who lost a friend, coworker/business associate, and especially a family member, but I also rejoice in the good fortune of this family (and hope you can too).
