I have had my cpap for 2 weeks I am 30 years old women and and weight 230 lbs. I gained a lot of weight when I was pregnant and have not been able to lose it, thats when I think this sleep problem started. My doctor said I should get a gartrolbypas after I was on sleep cpap for awhile, I feel that is too extreme and would like to have cpap work well enough that I would naturally lose wieght because I hopefully will have more energy and able to be more active but I am having some problems, the heated humidifier makes me feel as if it raining on me all night the mask I was given is making blisters on my face. I am very committed to making this work for my self and do feel more rested but hate waking up feeling like I have a cold every day. I am so thristy all the time. (thats not really a bad thing water is now my new best friend) my mouth is dry but, I know my mouth is closed when I sleep because I really hate the feeling of the air coming out my mouth and have been waking up with my teeth hurting because I have clenched my mouth shut all nigh. I do feel more rested and am able to give up the soda and coffee that I have lived for for so long but still feel like it is not quite working as well as I hoped? any ideas? and succes storys I need to hear from people that have lost weight and love cpap please please I need inspiration thanks
