If you are getting too many free "facials" then the heated humidifier is at too high a setting; lower it.
"mask I was given"...oops! Should have been the mask you selected. Does it fit you properly, were you measured for it, is it fairly comfortable?

gastric surgery of any sort is wrong if you have just started cpap...give the cpap a chance before you opt for any type of surgery.
