Having problems with CPAP

Posted by Not sleeping on September 25, 2001 at 18:28:57:

I have recently just started on a CPAP and have been having a lot of problems getting used to it. Is this normal? I figured I would sleep like a baby and I just lay awake at night not sleeping with it! I think it is just to weird and uncomfortable having a mask straped to my face? Sometimes I feel like I am suffocating and it makes me breath kinda of funny. Has anyone experienced problems like these? Please help....
