Depending on your prescribed pressure, falling asleep can be a problem in the beginning. BiPAP may be the way to go if your pressure setting is on the high side 9mine is at 17. BiPAP gives the user the needed pressure inhalation and lowers it at exhalation. In my case, I got used to it quickly. I was so sleep deprived that when i did the split study and went on CPAP, the results were so amazing that I wanted more of it. Having learned to meditate previously helped me to overcome the panic triggers I experienced. Breath normally through the nose and think positively.
