The director in the sleep disorders unit where I had my test said my snoring was recorded on the microphones in the three rooms down the hall from me.

My report showed I was reaching 95 decibels for about a quarter of the test with the average around 60dB.

In Australia you cannot work for over 8 hrs in noise above 85 dB even with hearing protection.

My wife had a hearing test and was found to have significant hearing loss in one ear ( and this was supposed to be industrial deafness - ie caused by loud noise in the workplace) - funny but she hasn't ever worked in a loud workplace.

My sleep doc says I should be real nice to her ( not difficult as I love her just as much after 15 years marriage) as she could sue me for hearing loss.
