I was so claustrophobic when I did my sleep lab cpap trial that I woke up having hysterics and screaming! The tech had to try really hard not to start laughing at me. However, once I got my cpap at home and kept working with it the utter terror passed.

Ask for nasal pillows. Instead of a mask pressing against your face, a small shell holds two squishy "pillows" just under your nose and the air goes in that way. It is much much easier to use.

Good luck! And keep us posted!
