I don't get colds often but had a real good one not long after getting my heated humidifier. I would get it warmed up, then blow real good (uhhh, my nose that is) until things were as cleaned out as I could get them and then put on the nasal pillows.
It seemed the humidity would further open up the airway, and not have any more congestion till next morning when I took it off.
Your timing is really great, Boston, as we are starting that time of the year when people will be having trouble due to the cold nights, and an increase in nasal problems, most of which can be solved with a heated humidifier.
