When you are dreaming your muscles are most relaxed, this might make it easier for the air to escape orally.
Perhaps an "X" with the tape over the mouth together with a horizontal piece of tape.
(ends folded over a bit to provide non-stick tabs for quick removal).
Perhaps an autoPAP that will provide lower pressure except when you need it?
FF mask? (I'd avoid it, but ?).
Inflating your throat may help you, trying to inflate the bedroom will not.
