Mask or pillows is a personal choice. Some people like them, some do not. Suggest you ask your equipment provider let you try both.
Your preference may in part be related to your pressure and shape of your face. I am at 15 and found the highly rated Mirage Full Face mask leaked like crazy possibly related to the shape of my face. Same for nasal mask. With these mask I was constantly adjusting them during the night. Using a Breeze with nasal pillows I got a great seal and no wakeup adjustments. I know several people that are very happy with conventional mask.
There is no best for everyone - it is trial and error and your likes and dislikes. Be patient when you start this process, it can take time to get all these details the way YOU need them.
