You don't.

Use of the Software (Dr perscribed), or knowledge of how to access the setting program (restriced) is required to change any of the actual perscription settings (including the "Settling Period"). The AutoSet T does not have a ramp per se... It has a 30 minute "Settling Period" that holds the machine at the minumum setting to allow you to fall asleap.

Personally, I leave ramps and such disabled - as I have a tendency to drop into deep sleep with instant major problems.
