ZOMIG ?? and sinus pain/tmj

Posted by peter in New Hampshire on October 06, 2001 at 17:47:20:

Hi everyone - I'm very curious to hear if anybody has used ZOMIG? If you've read my previous msg, you'll know that I've been having 7 years of chronic sinus pain, neck pain as well as tmj. I went to the doctor on Thursday (he wasn't my reg doctor...but another doctor in the office) and this guy went over my symptoms and suggested a number of treatments..needless to say, since I've been dealing with this for 7 years, every suggested treatment was met with 'Done it' - he was baffled... then he told me about a patient that was having the same symptoms...and he gave her ZOMIG (it's a migrane med) and it actually helped her. So he told me I should try it...and I did. I think I'm still a tad in shock that this med actually HELPS.. my sinus pain, neck pain and jaw pain are very much reduced with this med. I haven't followed up with the doctor yet..but honestly, after 7 years, I cannot believe that I found something that has an ounce of promise to relieve the pain. I would encourage anybody with similiar problems to talk to their doctor about trying this med.... I'm keeping my fingers crossed that it's a start to a better life. All my best to everyone, for health and wonderful sleeping. Peter
