Dear Steve- When I began CPAPing, I immediately stopped needing naps. Now, after 2.5 years, I may take one nap every 2 or 3 months, and that's only when I've pushed myself to stay up too late and gotten fewer than my absolute necessity of 6 hrs. of sleep. If you still need frequent naps, you should consult with your sleep doctor. However, if you DO nap, use the machine!
