First. If you can afford to buy it outright, shop around on the internet! For reasons unknown, I found the same CPAP machine range from $450 - $1250. Insurance rate and consumer rate.

Also, ask the future provider if they will do a payment plan. My provider offered this even before I asked about it, due to the fact insurance company feels the equipment isn't their responsibility.

I asked about renting as well. In about 4 payments I could have owned everything. It was leaning towards short term solutions. But it is possible there are plans out there for "Rent-to-own" people
