Also try to arrange the hose with a fall from the point above your bed pillow at which you anchor it with a cord or light bungee, such that there is no U-bend in the hose and condensate can drain back into the water chamber. I keep the hardware on the floor, to ensure good drainage. The purpose of the cord is to take the weight of the main hose, so that it cannot drag on the headgear.

If it is more than about 1/4 full, a U-bend will collect condensate and produce a gurgle or popple that the hose can amplify like an organ pipe. It's been enough to wake me a couple of times.

The Breeze headgear works best (at least for me!) when the smaller diameter hose is freed from the upper of the two hoops on the spline assembly. That produces a better drape and further reduces drag, for those of us who like to from back to side many times during the night.
