$260 for a Breeze is way overpriced. I'm guessing that your DME just doesn't have any and wants you to buy something he carries. Pretty typical behavior.

I'd check with your insurance company directly. Just call them up. Find out if you can use a different DME and if you can get a Breeze. If they say no, ask if you can get one if your doctor writes a letter.
