Mirapex was prescribed for me after the first sleep test, but before titration which required a second sleep test. I had awakenings, insomnia with it for about three weeks. Then, I began to get better sleep.

Subsequent to second test, about four weeks later, CPAP was prescribed. Quality of my sleep with both mirapex and CPAP is excellent now; but it required about three weeks for the insomnia and awakenings with Mirapex to subside.

My wife tells me that the RLS began to subside in slightly less than two weeks after I began Mirapex. This may be because it took that ling before the gradually increasing dose reached therapeutic level.
