Thanks all for the comments - very helpful.

Last night, when I turned it on, the popping was amazing! Didn't quite know what it was, then figured it must be water so I popped off the end and shimmied the hose along to get the water out of the crook - I could not BELIEVE how much water was in there!

Sleep Apnea didn't kill me but my machine may end up drowning me yet... :)

I'll get a cover asap.
