Sandy, is the surgery you are considering for the nasal obstructions? I had nasal surgery and it made it much easier to use CPAP, not to mention easier to breathe in general. Nobody promised it would cure my sleep apnea, however, and it did not. But the improvements to my general breathing were well worth the temporary discomfort of surgery.
