There are several types and the prices vary quite a bit. They are also expensive and if they do not work, they do not work.
I tried a Silent Nite which I got fitted for about $200 but my other dentist said he would have to charge $500. I know 3 dentists who have patients this has helped.
There are some that you can adjust, the one above is not adjustable. There as others that the dentist has to adjust and I currently have one.
For me cpap does not work and mouthpieces to not work and I had two surgeries which has not helped enough.
I also tried the opap but since the cpap did not help (it must be the air for some reason) the opap did not work. It appears the opap takes quite a bit of getting use to and I had more trouble with it than cpap but you need cpap and opap together.
The opap was more comfortable to wear as it does not require a mask. The air is bothersome though it was only half of my cpap pressure.
