I think some of you folks are obsessing on the cleaning thing. Remember it is only filtered air blowing out of the hoses - the hoses are not sucking up your germs. What are you worried about?

I disconnect all the hoses and mask every morning and let them dry out from my heated humidification. I have never cleaned the hoses in the nine months I have had them. My heated humidifier uses distilled water, and I let it dry out once every week or so.

The mask or nasal pillows need to be cleaned on occassion, but remember you are the only one using these things. It is not like they are being passed around strangers in a hospital ward.
