Dealing with Quack Central.

Posted by Fog on October 31, 2001 at 08:35:06:

Went to Quack Central yesterday. The (censored) ENT feels that a patient can give informed consent to a surgical intervention when it is referred to no more specifically as 'a procedure' and there is absolutely no discussion of risks or end-points, just senseless twaddle.
I half expected the quacks to try to 'burp' me...since I was being treated like a two year old.
