Breeze: Initial experience.

Posted by Fog on October 31, 2001 at 16:07:16:

Well, I've assembled and adjusted the darn thing. Though it sure is hard to read the fine print and small diagrams especially when you are wearing the darn contraption.

I've got the flow generator on a twenty minute ramp, and frankly I find the nasal pillows far, far more comfortable than I ever imagined I would. I think the first one to try nasal pillows deserve as much credit for bravery as the first man to eat an oyster. The concept is a good bit offputting, but the experience proves to be worth it.

Trouble is...although I can inhale fine...how is it I am unable to exhale except through my mouth once the pressure gets up to about 18?

And how come everytime I try to adjust one part of the contraption,,,another part changes its position?

This much ballyhoed Breeze doesn't seem all that great.
