Adjusting the Breeze is something of an art, but well worth the trouble. Suggest you search past forums and you will find many adjusting and fitting tips.
You are at a high pressure, and you do not mention if the pressure is new also. Sometimes starting on the high pressure makes one instinctively take shallow breaths, and this shallow breathing makes exhaling very difficult. Practice keeping your mouth shut and inhale VERY deeply, you should then be able to naturally exhale through the Breeze and against the pressure, with virtually no effort. Do the deep breathing slowly so that you do not hyperventilate. After a time (a few days?)the deeper breathing will be natural, and you will not have to think about it. It will take some practice and dedication, but you can do it. You must learn to keep your mouth closed at all times or the CPAP is completely ineffective.
Your pressure is very high. My sleep doctor started me at six for two weeks, then to 8 for four weeks and then to 15. I am grateful for the slow pressure changes. I do not know if I would have made it going straight from nothing to 15. You may want to investigate a similar program with your doctor if you still have problems.
